Ateksis at Antwell Life Care Residence, Turkey’s First Wellness Home Project!

The project, which is regarded as the first wellness project of Ant Yapi and accomplished in the heart of Istanbul with a holistic concept of “healthy living”, was designed to involve 158 homes and 13 commercial units over an area of 20.000 m2. Antwell adopts it a priority to offer a safe environment, as well while it offers the senior citizens a social and cosy environment. Highly preferred by the investors seeking premium services, Ateksis has supplied the Fire Warning and Emergency Announcement Systems. 

An interactive system, one of Bosch’s state-of-the-art technologies, was installed for fire detection in the project which was designed and implemented so precisely. Fire alarm system which was installed using 750 sensors and 125 warning points (buzzers and flashers) in the entire building was integrated with the hardware of mechanical systems and announcement system. Graphical surveillance software allows monitoring all terminals (sensors) and mechanical connections, which allows quicker detection of the warning point and necessary actions for response. 

As for the Emergency Announcement System, Bosch Plena series was installed. In the event that fire warning system detects a heat or smoke, the speaker system will be activated for building evacuation or as a guiding assistant automatically/manually with the announcement system by using 450 loudspeakers. In addition, it will be possible to broadcast music at the levels depending on the zone distribution.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless gas with the same density as the air, which is produced as a result of poor combustion of fossil fuels. In addition to these physical properties that hide themselves very easily, the symptoms of the immediate damages it causes by binding the oxygen in the blood are easily mistaken for common illnesses such as flu / common cold, etc. This makes it very difficult for the people intoxicated by CO-carbon monoxide gas to notice the symptoms of intoxication correctly and take precautions accordingly. Therefore, carbon monoxide panels and sensors installed for the car park are adjusted for precise ppm, in order to ensure carbon monoxide gas monitoring and control system. 

Thanks to the Fire Warning, Emergency Announcement and CO Detection Systems as well as hardware integration and graphical surveillance software implemented by Ateksis’s specialist engineers and technical teams, Antwell Life Care Residence has become an exclusive project that will set a good example for the concept of ‘healthy and safe living’.
